Earthquake: 3.2 quake strikes near Searles Valley, Calif.
A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Tuesday morning 24 miles from Searles Valley, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 12:35 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 1.2 mile.
