Teen shot at dismissal from western Pennsylvania high school
MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. (AP) — A teenage boy has been wounded in a shooting near a western Pennsylvania high school after the end of the school day.
The Sto-Rox School District in the Pittsburgh suburb of McKees Rock says on its website that the shooting happened about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say the victim was hospitalized but the injury was not believed to be life-threatening.
School officials say the incident took place as the high school was being dismissed. No students remained in the school.
Police are searching for the gunman.
