Turns out there was a good reason for this appearance at the Twitter Building’s marketplace — Tony Gemignani is opening another outpost of Tony’s Slice House. According to the World Pizza Champ (who just won a 12th World Championship title last week at the World Pizza Championships in Parma, Italy), the Market’s chef Mario Tolentino, who took over as the market’s culinary director last fall, approached him about coming on-board.
