Cannes Film Festival Adds Asghar Farhadi's 'The Salesman' To Competition Lineup, Mel Gibson's 'Blood Father' And More
As if the Cannes Film Festival lineup wasn't stacked enough, organizers today have added seven more films across their various programming slots, and it's going to be a great year for those descending on the Croisette next month.

The biggest addition by far is Asghar Farhadi's "The Salesman." The latest from the director of "A Separation" and "The Past" follows Emad and Rana, who are forced out of their apartment due to dangerous work on a neighboring building, and move into a new flat in the center of Tehran. An incident linked to the previous tenant will dramatically change the young couple’s life.
Also intriguing is "Starred Up" director David Mackenzie's next movie, "Hell Or High Water" (formerly known as "Comancheria"), which has a script from "Sicario" writer Taylor Sheridan. It...
