Amazon Prime members can save big on a great pair of Sennheiser headphones right now

AmazonIt’s been around for a little while now, but here’s a good deal for regular Amazon shoppers in the market for high-end headphones: Amazon is currently offering a $150 gift card with the purchase of the Sennheiser HD 600.
As of this writing, the HD 600s go for $357 on their own, so you’ll have to put that gift card to use for this to be worth it. If you do, though, you’ll effectively bring the headphones down to one of their lowest prices to date.
We haven’t tested the HD 600s ourselves, but we have enjoyed their more affordable cousin, the HD 598, and reviewers at CNET, The Wirecutter, InnerFidelity, Head-Fi have praised them in the decade-plus they've floated around.
Based on those reviews, the gist here looks similar to that of the 598s: A big, clean, and pleasant sound that’s great for mellower, more considered music, fitted in a large, open-backed design that’s really meant to stay at home. It’s a headphone for audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts, so it’ll work much better with an amplifier or receiver than your smartphone.
If that’s the world you live in, though, they should be a good fit. Just know that the gift card that comes along with them is physical, not digital, so you’ll have to wait a day or two to get it.
