Dear President Buhari, are these people still Nigerians? See the roads that lead to their houses
While Nigerians are groaning about the regular, almost constant hardship in the country, the group of people living in Magboro, Ogun state, have worse things to murmur over.
During NAIJ.com’s recent trip outside Lagos, our correspondents stumbled on some sections of the roads in this area of the fast-growing community, and they were in deplorable states even as vehicles passed with difficulties.
Unlike other terrible roads in most parts of the country, this particular one had a drainage system, however, the potholes in the middle of the road could not quite give any credence to how the drainages were working.
Most of the residents refused to speak with our correspondents with the excuse that they had always complained about it to the state and federal governments, but no action has been taken ever since.
With the rainy season fast approaching, their appeals go directly to President Muhammadu Buhari, as they ask if they are not Nigerians who deserve to get the benefits and gains of democracy in the last one year.
