– A ghastly motor accident which occurred along an expressway was reported to have claimed several lives
– Ibrahim Garba Dakata, a teacher in Kano Capital Secondary School, which is located in Nassarawa GRA in Kano state, made this known through a short message and photos posted on his Facebook page
– Dakata said some of the students who went for a programme in Lagos state died, while several sustained various degrees of injuries.
Some students from Kano state, who went to Lagos state, comprising of students of Kano Capital Secondary School and Karaye Secondary School had succeeded in what they went to do in Lagos. But as fate will have it, they were involved in a ghastly motor accident along their way, while returning to Kano. They were inside the school bus of Government Girls Secondary School, Bulukiya, Kano state.
In addition to earlier reports, six students from Unity School, Karaye and Kano Capital Secondary School died in the horrible incident

Immediately the sad incident occurred, three students of Kano Capital School died on the spot. Likewise, some of the students of Karaye died, with several of the occupants in the bus, sustaining various degrees of injuries, with their teachers included.
The sad occurrence which claimed the lives of the young students is very sad, as Mallam Garba Dakata prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased, while praying for the quick recovery of the injured ones.
It was some weeks ago that a yet to be identified truck driver died in an auto crash that occurred at Oke-Odo in Agege area of Lagos state.
