Apartment residents oppose sale of building to UMass-Lowell
The Sun (http://bit.ly/1Uq2Vz3 ) reports that tenants of Perkins Park met to discuss their next steps on Sunday, about a week after the university announced plans to purchase the 230-unit structure and convert it into student housing within two years.
Residents say they are frustrated that they are being forced from their homes, or at the very least being asked to share living space with college students.
