SEATTLE — Mariners catcher Steve Clevenger broke his right throwing hand after being hit by a foul ball in a game Wednesday night against Pittsburgh. Clevenger has a fracture of the third metacarpal. He exited in the top of the third inning after Andrew McCutchen’s foul ball came directly back and hit his bare hand.
