NEW YORK — Rob Wasserman, a highly respected bass player and composer who performed and recorded with Lou Reed, Neil Young, Brian Wilson and many other musicians, has died. He was 64. Wasserman died Wednesday in Los Angeles, according to Matt Busch, the manager for Wasserman’s close friend Bob Weir. Weir posted on his Facebook
