Conan O'Brien Paid Tribute To Late Elvis Presley Guitarist Scotty Moore
Last night, late night host Conan O’Brien took a break from telling jokes to pay a passionate tribute to one of his childhood heroes, Scotty Moore. The profoundly influential Moore served as the lead guitarist for Elvis Presley and passed away earlier this week at age 84 in his home in Nashville. In the clip above, O’Brien admits that as a teenager growing up in Boston, he became a “fanatic” for early Elvis and the rockabilly genre (Elvis served as an inspiration for O’Brien’s signature pompadour and sideburns).
