Police open fire at Hollywood Walgreens, 1 person hurt
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Police in Los Angeles say one person is hurt after an officer opened fire following a report of an attempted robbery at a Walgreens in East Hollywood.
The LAPD tells KNBC-TV (http://bit.ly/2aMDeuN) officers responded to the store at Sunset Boulevard and Western Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday. The station says one person was hit after an officer opened fire. The person was taken to a hospital and survived.
No police were hurt.
The cause of the shooting is under investigation.___
