iPhone iOS 10 Update Removes Gun Emoji, But Can You Still Use It?
The revolver emoji in Apple devices will be removed from the emoji keyboard in an upcoming software update and replaced with a lime green water pistol emoji. The emoji swap will take place this fall when the tech giant rolls out its iOS 10 operating system.
In an announcement on Monday, Apple casually hinted at the switcheroo by mentioning “beautiful redesigns of popular emoji” emojis and debuting a picture of the plastic water gun emoji.
