The original’s only seventeen seconds long but it tells a complete story: a cat walks up the stairs, jumps onto the bannister, almost loses his balance, but then . . . doesn’t. The cat regains his composure, shakes his head, and rubs his paw across his brow as if to say, “Phew, that was a close call.” He meows, looks directly at the camera, and breaks into a big cat smile. You can’t plan shit like that.
