A Dutch man was hospitalized for exhaustion after unsuccessfully waiting 10 days at a Chinese airport to meet up with his new online girlfriend. Alexander Pieter Cirk refused to believe that the new woman he had met through an online app had not showed up at the airport to greet him. He waited for 10 days at China’s Changsha airport before the lovesick Dutch man was overcome with exhaustion and taken to a hospital. The Express Tribune reports: 41-year-old Alexander Pieter Cirk flew from Holland to Hunan province in hopes of meeting up a Chinese woman, 26-year-old Zhang.
