Here's When You Can Expect a Four-Way Chicago Crossover

Creator and executive producer Dick Wolf said he thinks there will "definitely" be a four-way crossover between his three existing Chicago shows --

Fire, P.D. and Med -- and new spin-off Chicago Justice next year, after the latter premieres midseason.

Wolf also stressed that he and the shows' writers don't need to strain to come up with believable storylines to carry out these crossovers.

[...] doctors, aside from a massive medical murderer or something ... you would have, for example, Oliver [Platt] become one of the go-to expert witnesses on psychiatry, much like Elizabeth Olivet was on Law & Order. ...

[...] Wolf sees his Chicago casts as one unit so much that he has formally petitioned for the Screen Actors Guild Awards to consider all four shows as one ensemble for the drama ensemble award.
