From an early age kids learn to be fearful of make-believe characters such as the boogeyman. However, there has been an escalating presence of those depicted as real-life monsters, inflicting terror around the world and making us fearful of barbaric acts of inhumanity against the West, our fellow countrymen and women, and against humanity itself.
