About five persons were seriously injured on Monday, August 8, in an accident that occurred when a police bullion van driver violated traffic regulation.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the incident happened on the Sani Abacha barracks road.

According to an eyewitness, the driver of the police command FCT , Agada Daniel allegedly drove against the traffic.
He said: “The driver decided to take one way and with the level of his over-speed, he rammed into an Abuja taxi.
“As a result of the speed, the driver collided with the oncoming vehicle that conveyed staff of Halogen security company.
“Four staff of the company sustained various injuries.”
It was learnt that driving against traffic had become a norm for the police and the military, mostly on Maraba axis of the state.
In a another development, a police officer has undergone surgery for pregnancy prevention.
Moses Kangere, the officer and a father of six, went through the vasectomy surgery that led the tubes of his penis that transport sperm from testicles to the penis cut.
