Former chairman of the House of Representatives committee on appropriations, Abdulmumin Jibrin has unveiled an adorable picture of his little daughter, Fadiya even as he hinted clear that he is under pressure.
Jibrin, who is presently in a battle with the leadership of the lower house of legislature after blowing the lid off the infamous budget padding scandal currently rocking the House, tweeted a photo of him having some quality ‘daddy-time’ with his little girl in what appears to be his bedroom.

Dressed in an all-white flowing attire while his girl was dressed in burgundy top and trousers, Jibrin could not resist bringing in the sour issue of budget padding into the sweet picture with his caption that read, “My new obsession, baby Fadiya. Interesting how clueless she is about what her father is going through…”
The exquisiteness of the little area one can see of the bedroom in which the picture was taken also gives an idea of the opulence of the life of a Nigerian legislature. From golden bed fittings to golden picture frames and silver curtain sashes, the simple picture says a lot about Jibrin’s lifestyle as well.
This is the second time in five days that the ‘accidental activist’ as he calls himself has posted pictures of his family to his Twitter handle which he has employed as his source of dishing out massive allegations against Speaker, Yakubu Dogara in his fight against the House leadership.
On Thursday, August 4, just hours after his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) banned him from making public statements about the budget padding scandal, he posted a picture of him kissing his wife, Maryam Augie with the caption, “Since I can’t post anything else, let me just celebrate my wife…”
NAIJ.com recalls that Jibrin was gagged by the APC not long after he began his war with Dogara and several members of the House of Representatives shortly following his removal as chairman of the appropriations committee.
