5 Things I learned from My First Job
1. THINK BIG- When you work at a big agency, you are exposed to really impressive industry leaders, projects, businesses and this exposure teaches you that nothing is impossible. I was one of the handful of agents who signed Ryan Seacrest when he was 26 or 27 years old and working as a local DJ in Los Angeles. I remember Ryan expressing his ambitious vision in our first meeting. I was next to the most junior person in the room and wasn't sure how we could really do that. Fortunately, the more senior agents in the room knew what to do and everyone in that room played a part in it. It sure looks like Ryan has achieved everything he set out to do that day so many years ago! There is no idea too big that can't be achieved without clear vision, talent and the right team to carry it out. I have a witnessed the makings of stars and know anything is possible.
