If Broadway has dinner theater — that age-old combo of musical performance and fine dining — then why should the operatic world be left out?
Billed as an “operatic variety show,” this presentation includes dinner from Canvas Underground, the network of private supper clubs.
Along with the food comes a variety of operatic excerpts sung by the organizers, soprano Sarah Fletcher and bass-baritone Andrew J. Chung, along with mezzo-soprano Claire MacKenzie and tenors Sudeep Srivastava and Gustavo Hernandez.
