Phoenix police say the last of three officers injured when a car plowed into them outside a convenience store has been released from the hospital.
Phoenix police say one Phoenix police officer remains hospitalized after he and two others were injured when a car plowed into them and during a subsequent scuffle with the car's driver.
The other officer who's been released suffered minor injuries during a scuffle while arresting a man identified as 44-year-old Marc LaQuon Payne.
A 44-year-old man described as a transient is jailed without bond after authorities said he drove a car into two police officers outside a Phoenix gas station and then scuffled with a third officer who managed to get out of the way.
Marc LaQuon Payne is jailed on multiple counts, including suspicion of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal damage and resisting arrest.
