Southeastern Louisiana beats UTEP 72-56
EL PASO, Texas — Davon Hayes scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds as Southeastern Louisiana won its third-straight, beating the University of Texas at El Paso 72-56 on Wednesday night.
Marlain Veal added 18 points, six assists and nine rebounds for the Lions (4-1). Dominic Nelson had 10 points and led the team with 11 rebounds. Southern Louisiana averaged 48.3 percent shooting from the field and 66.7 percent from the free throw line.
