The recent resolution by the European Parliament to counter several Russian media outlets has a political agenda behind it and represents nothing more than another attempt by the United States and the European Union to try to contain Russia, Nabil Haitham, Editor-in-Chief of Lebanese Al-Joumhouria newspaper, told Sputnik on Thursday.
