EKU cuts French major, several other academic programs
Media reports say EKU faculty and administration had created a list of possible cuts aimed at reducing a multi-million-dollar shortfall.
Coupled with cuts to athletics and changes to employee health insurance, Board of Regents Chair Craig Turner says the decision Monday to suspend programs should trim the deficit to about $2 million.
