No plans to plow sidewalk near where homeless man was struck
CONCORD, N.H. — There are no official plans to plow a New Hampshire-owned sidewalk leading to a soup kitchen after a homeless man in a wheelchair was fatally struck by a vehicle on the road alongside it.
Neither the state nor the city plans to plow the sidewalk along Interstate 393 linking The Friendly Kitchen and downtown Concord. When there’s snow, people often walk in the shoulder next to the curb.
