A police constable was booked on Sunday for allegedly cheating one of the members of Surat’s erstwhile royal family of Rs 39.46 lakh in the past one year. Mehmood Fakruddin alias Baba Moriswala, currently posted as constable in Kapodra police station, had withdrawn money from a joint bank account by promising to solve a property dispute of the royal family.
