Prosecutor clears officers in killing of robbery suspect
(AP) — A Connecticut prosecutor has cleared a state trooper and Manchester police officer of wrongdoing in the fatal shooting of a bank robbery suspect last year.
New London State's Attorney Michael Regan says in a report released Monday that the officers were justified in shooting Christopher Anderson because he came at them with a utility knife and refused commands to drop it.
