Regents to receive audit of Iowa State president’s flights
ANKENY, Iowa — The board that governs Iowa’s public universities is expected to decide Monday whether to take action against Iowa State University’s president for his use of university airplanes.
During a special meeting later Monday in Ankeny, the Iowa Board of Regents is scheduled to release an audit that scrutinizes all flights Steven Leath and others have taken on school planes during his five years as president. The regents are then expected to go into closed session to evaluate Leath, whose contract runs through June 2020.
