Kosovo citizen charged with joining terror group in Syria
PRISTINA, Kosovo — Prosecutors in Kosovo say they have charged a citizen from the Balkan country with being part of a terror group for allegedly joining the Nusra Front in Syria.
Monday’s statement said that the suspect, identified only as N.A., went to Turkey in 2014 and entered Syria from the town of Gaziantep to join al-Qaida-linked Nusra, which recently changed its name to the Fatah al-Sham Front. After a week, he returned to Kosovo.
