This photo is causing chaos on Nigeria social media - Here's why
Social Media is almost always abuzz with something new and trending that is getting thousands talking. This past weekend, Nigerian internet users got to weigh in on something quite interesting.
A photo was posted of an open drain, a street hawker and a pastor and Nigerians could not help but see the reason why this describes the country very accurately.
The picture was posted by a Twitter user, Olufemi Awoyemi with the caption “Nigeria Illustrated– An open drain on one side, a school age street hawker on the other and a pastor and his Rolls Royce in the middle.”

A lot of people had various reactions to this picture. Some agreed that it showed the plight of the average Nigerian where everyone is simply struggling to survive while religious leaders (who continually preach meekness patience) are living a very luxurious life.
