After President-elect Donald Trump discussed some of his business plans to set up a trust to hold his business while handing over management of the firms to his sons, one of the top ethics policy officials in Washington outright dismissed the plan as meaningless on Wednesday, according to Politico. Trump claimed his sons would not be permitted to discuss the businesses with him but Office of Government Ethics Director Walter Shaub called the arrangement "meaningless from a conflicts of interest perspective."
