MASSOB douses 'war' in Igboland, declares support for Nnamdi Kanu after Uwazuruike's outlash

The Uchenna Madu of faction of MASSOB says it will always be behind Nnamdi Kanu
Just hours after Ralph Uwazuruike, the founder of Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), blasted Nnamdi Kanu, leader of IPOB, another faction of the group has pledged support to the former director of Radio Biafra.

Vanguard reports that factional leader of MASSOB, Uchenna Madu, in a statement released on Wednesday, January 11, pledged the group’s support for Kanu and said none of the efforts of the government to have him tried would yield results.
The statement which was released in Abakaliki, warned the Federal Government not to toy with the lives of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Chidiebere Onwudiwe and others standing trial on frivolous criminal charges at Abuja Federal High Court.

“Justice Binta Nyako is directly playing the tune of his Fulani Islamic brother for the interest of Sokoto caliphate. The people of Biafra shall never succumb to this intimidation. The so-called secret trials will never see the light of the day because my brothers, Nnamdi Kanu and others, did not commit any crime,” the statement read.
Madu’s position is at totally different from that of Uwazuruike, who lashed out at Kanu and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), describing them as fraudsters who are out to milk gullible people.
Uazuruike’s reaction follows allegations contained in a statement released by Emma Powerful on Behalf of IPOB that the MASSOB leader and some other persons were the masked men to testify against Kanu when he appears before Justice Binta Nyako in Abuja.
