U.S. Treasury sanctions Syrian officials over chemical weapon use

WASHINGTON, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- The U.S. Treasury Department said it sanctioned Syrian officials in response to a report indicating President Bashar al-Assad's regime used chemical weapons.
