S.F. man critically injured in Mission District blaze Saturday
A San Francisco man was critically injured after a fire broke out inside his Mission District apartment unit Saturday afternoon, fire officials said. Firefighters received a call about 1:18 p.m. of a blaze on the third floor of an apartment complex at 255 Dorland St., said Lt. Jonathan Baxter, a San Francisco Fire Department spokesman. The address is listed online as a senior apartment complex, but the victim’s age was not released by officials. A firefighter paramedic from Engine 7 arrived at the scene and was able to immediately perform CPR after the victim was pulled from the building, Baxter said.
