Now in its second year, Shotgun Players’ Blast Festival offers an eclectic array of local and national artists in the sort of shows that might not be the right fit for a main-stage subscription season but are deeply worthy of appearing on the Ashby Stage. Mike Daisey’s two solo shows in the festival, “The End of Journalism” and “This Is Not Normal,” are not to be missed; also performing are Megan Hopp and EmSpace Dance, among others.
