Bestival 2017 line-up: The xx, Jamie T and Pet Shop Boys announced as headliners
The xx, Jamie T and Pet Shop Boys have been announced as the headliners for this year’s Bestival.
A Tribe Called Quest have also been given a headline slot at this year’s festival, which moves from the Isle of Wight to its new home in Dorset’s Lulworth Estate.
Festival organisers announced this year’s line-up on Thursday morning, with other acts including Rag N’ Bone Man, Dizzee Rascal, Laura Mvula and Nadia Rose all set to perform.
“Bestival was one of the first festivals we played, back in 2010, and it had always been a dream for us… we even begged to play the previous year,” said The xx.

“In 2012 we returned to play the main stage and we’re so happy to say we’ll be headlining this year, at the new site in Dorset.
“The Isle of Wight will hold a special place in our hearts but we’re excited to bring our new show to their new home.”
Pet Shop Boys will return to the Bestival stage for the first time in more than a decade following the release of their new record.
“Amazingly it is over ten years since we last played Bestival but we remember it being one of the most enjoyable festivals ever,” they said.
“Looking forward to bringing our new show there this year – and seeing how the audience has decided to dress up!”
Other acts on the line-up include Justice, Ray BLK, Soul II Soul, Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon and DJ Shadow.
