NEW YORK, 9 February 2017 – When it comes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals for children, starting with the most deprived and disadvantaged children is not only right in principle, but is also cost-effective and practical. This approach is central to the updated road map to and outline of the UNICEF Strategic Plan, 2018–2021, which was adopted by the Executive Board yesterday at its first regular session for 2017.
