A group of demonstrators took to the streets of Rennes, France, on April 23, chanting slogans against the far-right National Front (FN) party as the results of the first round of the country?s presidential election became clear. FN candidate Marine Le Pen made the second round of the election, which is to be held on May 7, along with centrist Emmanuel Macron of the En Marche! movement. Here, marchers are heard chanting that it is the anti-immigration FN which should leave the country. Police in riot gear are also on the street. Macron and left-wing candidate Jean Luc Melenchon dominated the polls in Rennes. Credit: Twitter/MouniBelounis via Storyful
