Pileup on Napa County highway injures 6
A man driving a Porsche on a rural Napa County road Sunday veered into the wrong lane, causing a four-vehicle wreck that left him and his passenger with major head trauma, authorities said.
Two motorcyclists traveling behind the Explorer were also involved, a first who braked safely behind the sport utility vehicle but whose 2007 KTM Super Duke motorcycle tipped once he came to a stop.
[...] problems for the man riding the Super Duke worsened when the Explorer, whose driver forgot to set the emergency brake, rolled backward into the bike, according to the CHP.
All of the injured people were transported to Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa, with the exception of the 18-year-old passenger in the Porsche, who was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, officers said.
