A’s Jesse Hahn progressing quickly in return from triceps strain
The A’s starter, who was placed on the 10-day DL with a right triceps strain Saturday, is scheduled to pitch one inning at Class-A Stockton on Wednesday.
Hahn is likely to make at least one more rehab outing after Wednesday, but because he hasn’t missed much time, he won’t need to build his pitch count up from zero, so potentially could be back before the middle of June.
[...] reliever Sean Doolittle, who has been on the DL since April 30 with left shoulder soreness, will throw 20 pitches to hitters at extended spring training in Arizona on Tuesday.
Melvin said that shortstop Marcus Semien, who had wrist surgery April 18, isn’t throwing yet, but is doing some flips to second while fielding grounders, and he might not be too far away from making actual throws.
