Tashir Group President: only united we can overcome all difficulties and achieve prosperity and peace for Armenia's future
YEREVAN, September 21. /ARKA/. Samvel Karapetyan, President of Tashir Group of Companies, has sent a congratulatory message to the Armenian people on the occasion of Independence Day.
"Today we live in a world of rapidly changing political and economic factors. But one thing always remains unchanged: a strong and prosperous Motherland is the support and pride of Armenians around the world," he said.
Noting that he believes in Armenia's special mission, Karapetyan stressed that "our small nation has managed to preserve its identity, spiritual and moral values and create an independent state."
"So today I wish all of us strength and want us to unite our efforts to help our country. We still have many obstacles to overcome, but only by uniting can we again overcome all the difficulties and achieve prosperity and peace for the sake of our country's future," he said.
Karapetyan expressed special gratitude and appreciation to those who are now defending Armenia's borders and independence.
"You know the value of this celebration better than anyone else, thanks to you the security of the state and peaceful life of the people are ensured," he said.
Samvel Karapetyan expressed hope that in the near future more people all over the world will recognize Armenians' talents, diligence, wisdom and creative energy.
September 21, 2022 marks the 31st anniversary of Armenia's independence. On this day in 1991, the Supreme Council of then Soviet Armenia held a referendum on secession from the USSR and establishment of an independent state.
About 99% of citizens, having the right to vote, cast their ballots for proclamation of independence. Officially, independence was proclaimed by the parliament on September 23. -0-
