Armenian Defense Minister: No military exercises with Iran planned in 2026
ArmInfo. The Armenian Armed Forces do not plan military exercises with Iran in 2026, as stated by Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan during a press conference in Yerevan on January 13.
He mentioned that such exercises were conducted with the Iranian side last year, and the neighboring countries were informed in advance. However, there are no plans for such exercises this year. "No exercises are planned for this year," he said, in response to a question on the matter.
He added that, in general, the country's armed forces are planning exercises in 2026, and the neighboring countries will be notified in advance.
