The regions and areas were announced for AHSAA football, flag football and volleyball on Friday, Jan. 23, and it impacted plenty of Gadsden-area teams. The reclassification and shifting of regions came following the Central Board of Control meeting in Montgomery, where it was announced that public and private schools will be splitting for postseason play.
