Armenia’s Heritage Party demands early elections
“The authorities chose bloodshed, which showed when Pavel Manukyan and his son Aram Manukyan were invited to negotiations and shot,” the party’s statement reads.
Heritage Party stressed that “Sasna Tsrer” is an anti-terroristic group and demanded that the authorities allow to immediately provide food, water and medicine to “Sasna Tsrer” members currently at the seized station, as well as renew negotiations to bring this situation to a resolution without bloodshed.
The party called for formation of an interim government, which will prepare and hold early presidential and parliamentary elections this December.
“We call on our citizens to take to the streets, participate in the demonstrations, voice their dissatisfaction with the authorities’ illegal actions and prevent the new bloodshed by the authorities,” reads the statement of Armenia’s Heritage Party.
