Work of international commission on Artsakh launched - opposition MP

ArmInfo.A few days ago, with the political consent of the main forces of the Artsakh parliament, the work of the international commission on Artsakh was launched, Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the With Honor parliamentary faction, wrote on his Facebook account. 

He recalled that according to the decision of the Artsakh parliament  adopted at the end of 2023, an international commission on Artsakh  should have been formed, the number and composition of its members  should have been approved, and a work procedure regarding the  directions and goals of its activities should have been developed.

Abrahamyan said that through the participants of the Commission -  authoritative persons - the agenda concerning Artsakh people will be  promoted at various international platforms, starting from their  repatriation, ending with the protection provided for on the basis of  international law.

In this regard, he emphasized that no matter how the Armenian  authorities try to put a heavy stone on the head of Artsakh through  blackmail and threats, this issue cannot be closed in any way.

"We note that only the authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan are  trying in every possible way to ignore and close the existence of the  Artsakh issue," he wrote.
