Uganda to face Nigeria, Cape Verde, Mali in FIBA World Cup qualifiers
KAMPALA, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Uganda have been drawn in Group A alongside Nigeria, Cape Verde and Mali in the 2023 FIBA Men's Basketball World Cup qualifiers.
Uganda coach Mande Juruni told Xinhua that the draw is a tough one because none of their opponents are weak.
"It will not be an easy qualifier, but that is what a World Cup qualifier is all about, because nothing comes easy," Juruni said.
