Flyers place Claude Giroux, Ivan Provorov in COVID protocol
The Philadelphia Flyers placed forward Claude Giroux and defenseman Ivan Provorov in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol on Tuesday.
Three other Flyers players -- forwards Derick Brassard and Jackson Cates and defenseman Nick Seeler -- already were in the protocol. In addition, Philadelphia placed a staff member into protocol along with Giroux and Provorov on Tuesday.
Giroux, the team captain, has 29 points (11 goals, 18 assist
