Mets president: Manager Carlos Mendoza to return in '26

Carlos Mendoza will return next season as the manager of the New York Mets, president of baseball operations David Stearns confirmed Tuesday.
'Oh yeah, Mendy's doing a great job,' Stearns told 'The Show' podcast. 'I think he's the right person for this job.'
Mendoza, 46, is in his second season as manager -- a barrier the past three managers didn't cross.
