Mongolia's central bank purchases 16.3 tons of gold in 2025
ULAN BATOR, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's central bank purchased 16.3 tons of gold from legal entities and individuals in 2025, marking a 0.7 percent decrease compared to last year, according to the Bank of Mongolia on Friday.
As of December 2025, the Bank of Mongolia's average gold purchase price stood at 490,374.67 Mongolian tugriks (about 137.8 U.S. dollars) per gram, the bank said in a statement.
